Logline: Instructional video to increase and maintain the “WANT” for your dreams.
Below the movie trailer is the full movie screenplay of the book “Want Your Dreams” (See: https://pocketpracticebook.com).
It is structured in a narrated documentary/instructional-guide format. Though this post only approximates industry standard screenplay formatting, I can provide exports to Final Draft (.fdx), Word (.docx) or PDF (.pdf) standards.
Rationale:
This was written to maximally present the content of the book. There is no dialogue per se, but three different narrators, each with a specific speaking style. The narration content, sequence and style are important as written in the screenplay. The drama behind the narration should have minimal conflict and maximum positivity in keeping with the message of the book. The various vignettes over which the narrations take place are not “set in stone” and any Director or Screenwriter interpretations may enjoy creative license, balancing budget and dramatic effect.

SUPER: INTRODUCTION
FADE TO:
EXT. LEDGE OF OPEN LIBRARY WINDOW – DAY
BEE can be seen hovering outside, then, entering through an open library window. Multi-coloured spots of pollen can be seen on Bee’s upper back. MUSIC Rimsky Korsakov’s “Hummelflug (Flight of the Bumblebee)” (average volume).
INT. LIBRARY AS FROM BEE’S ELEVATED POV — DAY
People sit reading at library tables with ubiquitous green table lamps. MUSIC noticeably lowers in volume as LIBRARIAN shh’s a patron with a pantomime vertical index finger to their lips. Bee gimbals in flight as it heads to the shelf stacks.
MONTAGE – BOOK SPINES AS FROM BEE’S POV
Bee looks up and down various book spines which are each emanating a different but particular/identifying colour of a gentle pollen stream. It noticeably exchanges particles of this stream of each book spine with GOLDEN POLLEN from itself. MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes lower volume. Montage book spine suggestions: Vedic Hymns, Buddha, Aristotle, Bible, Voltaire, Walt Whitman, etc.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC has strong, didactic voice.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
The importance of want and desire for your dreams is not a new idea. This is not a “discovery”. If you look through libraries anywhere, you’ll find this information in many formats. Writers and philosophers have been communicating about it throughout the ages; and are thankfully still doing so.
CUT TO:
EXT. ABOVE AUDITORIUM SKYLIGHT – DAY
Bee can be seen hovering outside, then, entering through an open auditorium skylight. Multi-coloured spots of pollen can be seen on Bee’s upper back. MUSIC Rimsky Korsakov’s “Hummelflug” (average volume).
INT. AUDITORIUM, FACING STAGE, ABOVE AND BEHIND AUDIENCE AS FROM BEE’S POV – DAY
SPEAKER on stage with headset microphone is holding one hand to an ear directed towards the audience with their other hand on their hip; leaning into the audience’s direction, obviously inviting a response from them. Like with the books in the library, the Speaker is emanating a particular/identifying colour of a gentle pollen stream. Bee flies directly at the Speaker. As Bee brushes past them, it noticeably exchanges particles of this stream with its Golden Pollen. MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes average volume.
BEAT – Bee then swoop around the Speaker, facing the audience. Scene is momentarily washed out by the stage lights until the audience becomes visible. At which point they all can be seen jumping out of their seats in unison, some clapping, some raising their arms in victory stance, some shadow-boxing “Yesss!”
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Motivational speakers talk about it.
CUT TO:
EXT. URBAN SETTING – EVENING
MUSIC Rimsky Korsakov’s “Hummelflug” (average volume).
MONTAGE – ENTERING AND EXITING WINDOWS AS FROM BEE’S POV
Bee can be seen hovering outside, then, entering through various open windows. Multi-coloured spots of pollen can be seen on Bee’s upper back. After entering a window, Bee’s POV encounters various people who are each emanating a particular/identifying colour of a gentle pollen stream. As Bee encounters each, it noticeably exchanges particles of this stream with its GOLDEN POLLEN.
MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes average volume.
— Business Meeting showing PROJECTED SALES Chart in background of CEO#1 and CEO#2 shaking hands. MUSIC increases volume slightly.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Business partners strategize about it.
— Coffee Shop setting showing FRIEND#1 surreptitiously pointing out the object of their affection to FRIEND#2. MUSIC increases volume slightly again.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Friends discuss it over coffee or tea.
— Apartment Dinner Table, with COUPLE sitting side by side at one end of table with wine glasses in hand, both looking at a picture on a tablet. The other end of the table shows remnants of a finished meal for two. Bee’s POV sweeps around the couple to convey Bee flying around to see that the picture they are looking at is of a suburban neighbourhood home with children playing in a central open commons. MUSIC stops.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Loved ones collaborate over dinner or wine.

NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
There are many ways to plan out the successful accomplishment of your dreams. There are excellent seminars, workbooks, videos, execution kits, etc. on this subject. But this work is not going to cover that; it’s going to cover what is involved in having a genuine, burning, desire for your dreams;
to be in a mindset where you are actually interested and excited about your dreams and can’t wait to get up in the morning to execute the current or next steps towards their realization.
Many people have asked the question: “How can I accomplish more of my dreams?” There are many great answers. This work represents only part of that answer; the most important part.
It is not where you draw up a step-by-step plan that can be followed on a To-Do list. The part of the answer that you will focus on here is how to get yourself to the point where you actually FEEL the desire for your dreams; the point where you are genuinely interested in doing what’s necessary to achieve them; and how to recover that feeling if it ever wanes. It is the part of the answer that will get you to the point where you actually want to create your To-Do list and where you are enthusiastic and unstoppable in doing its steps.
CUT TO:
EXT. CORN FARM FIELD – DAY
A FARMER is showing his FARM-HANDS a perfect specimen of an ear of corn. He is excited about its quality, colour, feel and smell. Behind the farmer are stacks of empty wicker baskets. He grabs one of baskets and marches out to the field. His farm-hands follow, mimicking the farmer’s exuberance.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
When you are deep-down excited about accomplishing something, your attitude is infectious. You are full of energy, bright ideas come out of nowhere, friends around you cheer you on and most importantly, you are happy in your pursuit.
Each step is a celebration, each milestone, an historic event; and the realization of a dream is a wondrous acknowledgment of you. You are ready for further challenges, knowing that you will overcome any obstacles that may come up and enjoy doing so.
CUT TO:
EXT. ETHEREAL VISTA – DAY/NIGHT
Some gently fluctuating space nebula, quite river, colourful field or similar calming-type vista. MUSIC Non-intrusive, ethereal background music; assisting the viewer to focus on the Narrator’s words.
NARRATOR-EMPATHETIC has soft, empathetic voice.
NARRATOR-EMPATHETIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Let yourself have this information. Let it work for you in bringing about more of the conditions and things you love to have in your life. We all deserve to have what we want in life and we all contemplate sharing that with those we love. Let the information in this work into your life; use it, practice it and get a result from it. Make a decision about that now.
Don’t give up on first viewing; give it a real go here. This is not a long process but it’s not a “quick fix” either. To be effective, it requires your dedicated action, exactly along the lines laid out here. Don’t give up your ‘day job’ just yet and you’ll have nothing to lose, and your dreams to gain.
It doesn’t matter what you want – you can have it if you want it. That is the nature of life. But you have to want it, and that comes from you. If you are sure that you want it; then you can increase and maintain that desire;
and that, simply put, is what this work is about.
View and practice the contents of this work often, and daily. Let its truth sink into you at the rate that it will naturally do so. Some statements may not jump out at you upon first viewing. Other statements may stay with you for days. More viewings will bring about an understanding of certain statements that you didn’t fully “see” before.

Your thoughts ignite a rocket ship,
A ride of laughter, fun and flip.
The engine that propels the jaunt
Is powered by your joyous want.
Your destinations, yet unknown,
Will call to you, to you alone.
And all you need to make the race
Is have your heart in dreaming pace.
Visions saved and dusty dreams
Get taken out and fully cleaned
Polished bright, committed full;
Your engine revs, you feel the pull.
Your thoughts and acts, they all align.
You know you’ll get there, given time.
The speed of trip is up to you,
Dependent on your mix of fuel.
So pour it on, that high-test mix,
As destinations come up quick.
Relax and smile, enjoy the ride.
Your WANT makes sure time’s on your side.

SURMISER alternately writing on pad of paper and holding it at arm’s length to evaluate what was written. Sometimes, the page will be removed from the pad and thrown in a waste bin. At some point they will be satisfied with what is on the page, remove it from the pad and pin it to a cork-board.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Make sure your dreams are desirable to YOU. They may evolve in the future, but whatever they are now; own them or change them to ones you can own. It is very important to decide your dreams. Choose your dreams regardless of scope, likelihood, opinions of others and especially regardless of any limiting thoughts of your own, if you have any about them. The first important thing is that they are what YOU want. Examine them and ask yourself, “What if…?” Write them down on paper or on a computer and look at them in “black and white.” Decide which ones are really for you.
CUT TO:
EXT. BUSY URBAN STREET SIDE-WALK – DAY
BUSTLING-PEOPLE “going places”. Each emanating a different but particular/identifying colour of a gentle pollen stream.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
The future is open for anyone to mold. One of the beauties of life is in its diversity.
Different people often want different things. No one’s dream is better than another’s; your dreams are your dreams and another’s are another’s.
You take on now, what you can take on now. At some point in the future, your viewpoints may expand and you can reassess what you want to take on at that time. For now, they’re your dreams and there is no comparison required.

MONTAGE – SAME BUSY URBAN STREET SIDE-WALK AS FROM BEE’S POV.
Bee intersects various streams, each with small exchange of the person’s coloured “pollen stream” and Bee’s Golden Pollen. MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes low volume.
— MOUSEY person with shoulders slumped shakes their head in defeat.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Don’t belittle your dreams if they don’t seem as great as others’.
— Over-confident BULLY pushing people out of their way without regard to anybody else.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Don’t aggrandize them if they seem greater.
— A very WELL-DRESSED individual and an AVERAGE-DRESSED individual face each other. The Well-Dressed individual moves hand and arm down their body, palm up, to brag and draw attention to their state of dress. Average-Dressed’s coloured stream vacillates in a confusing calamity of colour shifts.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Don’t adopt dreams because of peer pressure or keeping up with your neighbour.
— Different small groups of people, walking and talking to each other, are seen to have similar colour-based streams with each individual in that particular group. Yet each different group is seen to have a different colour-based stream for the group as a whole.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
A great phenomenon of life is the core similarity we find in the people we meet. Different people sometimes want the same things we want. Dreaming of things that others may want can still be YOUR dreams. Adopting another’s dream in a joint effort can still be considered YOUR dream. Sometimes joint dreams have a better chance of realization, simply because they are generally more out in the open, resulting in them being better defined than if they were more loosely bouncing around inside our heads.
Be healthfully selfish in making sure your dreams are going to result in you having what you want. YOU are important here. Others do come into play, but we’re talking about YOUR dreams.
That being said, it is beneficial to align your dreams so that everyone involved gains in some way as a result of their accomplishment. Keep your dreams compassionate in this way and spread the wealth, so to speak.
The specific dream is not in question here, just that there are some common end results that will go along with any dream well chosen. Increased personal well-being and increased well-being of your relationships with loved ones and friends are your primary indicators. In fact, they are mutually inclusive.
MUSIC Stops.
MATCH CUT TO:
EXT. SAME BUSY URBAN STREET SIDE-WALK – DAY
PERSON-WEIGHING is leaning against a street-lamp, eyes looking up as viewing pictures in their mind. Their hands, palms up, raise and lower at each side of their body, “weighing” some option in their mind. A select few coloured streams fluctuate in intensity and volume as their hands raise and lower.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Big and small; it’s just not part of the equation. “Desirable to ME” or “Not desirable to ME” is the only fundamental comparison involved. Just recognize that they are “MY dreams” and that “I want them.”

Person-Weighing is being admonished by their PARTNER. Partner has one hand on hip, one hand raised with a wagging finger and is leaning into Person-Weighing with a dominating stance.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Don’t let your dreams shed a negative context on your current life in the sense that you are dreaming yourself “out” of something bad.
BACK TO:
EXT. SAME BUSY URBAN STREET – DAY

INT. HOME KITCHEN SETTING – DAY
Person-Weighing is setting a table with a meal. Doting on the placement of everything so it is perfect. Then sits, consulting the clock and the doorway; obviously waiting for the arrival of their Partner to enjoy a well-prepared meal.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Dream yourself “in” to something improved. This is a vital nuance of thought! It may seem like six of one and half a dozen of the other. It may seem like an irresolvable dilemma. But it is very important that you understand and apply this point when it comes to establishing your dreams. Any negative built into a dream siphons off its power at the source.

NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O.)
Recognize the good things in your current life and align your dreams as an improvement on them; not as replacements of unwanted things.
Keep your focus on the improvement in its own right and not on any comparison to some undesirable present condition. Again, this is a vital nuance of thought. There may not seem to be any difference; but there is a world of difference! This requires focus, especially if you have a tendency towards pessimism.
FADE TO:
EXT. ETHEREAL VISTA – DAY/NIGHT
Some gently fluctuating space nebula, quite river, colourful field or similar calming-type vista. MUSIC Non-intrusive, ethereal background music; assisting the viewer to focus on the Narrator’s words.
NARRATOR-EMPATHETIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
If it weren’t for your current circumstances (good and bad), the dreams of what you now want would hold no desire for you. I repeat; if it weren’t for your current circumstances, the dreams of what you now want would hold no desire for you. Meaning, unwanted conditions do influence the direction of what you now find that you want; and the good things you have in your life influence it also. Less of the bad is an inevitable by-product of following your dreams to more of the good.
Following dreams to less of the bad things has a negative or subtractive result; nothing really gained just something removed.
Most important to recognize is that the good things in your life are the yardstick against which you will be measuring your success. The accomplishment of a dream towards more of something that you are now aware of as good, results in something gained and something added to your life. More of the good things, yeah!
Your dreams are a logical and natural progression from where you are now to an improved state of existence. Wherever you are now in your life is your only frame of reference to determine what you would like to experience in the future. Except for the common thread of love and friendship in all our hearts; the direction of your dreams will be as individual as you are and as individual as the circumstances you experience in the world around you. They are your path to get deeper into the activity and joys of life; they are your path to realizing your creative influence on the future.

Your dreams provide a walking path
No need for fight or aftermath.
Just take your steps, be true to self
And walk on to YOUR kind of wealth.
Don’t be concerned by slight or jeers
Keep YOUR dreams and not your peers’.
Don’t swell your head or bare your chest
Just be yourself and be your best.
Take them with you, friend and foe
So all of you might learn and grow.
And gather all in fields of sun
And celebrate all that you’ve done.
Recognizing how you’ve grown,
You look again to fields unknown.
Though certain path cannot be seen
Adventure means the same as dream.

SUPER: CONCURRENT WITH YOUR DREAMS
FADE IN:
EXT. MOUNTAIN TOP – DAY
Couple stand together on an mountain plateau, holding hands as one of them waves their hand across the expanse in front of them.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Appreciating and enjoying your current life is of utmost importance to following your dreams. This cannot be understated. You have to take actions to appreciate and enjoy the good things in your current life; otherwise your dreams will act as an affront to your life instead of a progression.
You don’t want to be following your dreams with your attention focused on the undesirable things in your life. Inevitably, actions towards your dreams will start reminding you of them. Following your dreams, then, would become equated with thoughts of the unwanted things in your life. The exact opposite of what they are!
CUT TO:
EXT. GARDEN DINNER TABLE – DAY
EXTENDED-FAMILY enjoy an afternoon meal together. Many generations are present.
Children are playing and being ushered back to their seats. Great-Grandparents are being assisted to their places at the table. Young adults are drinking, talking and laughing. Older adults are placing food on the table and preparing the venue for the imminent meal.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Following your dreams is an improvement on the good things in your life, whatever those things are. Better food, closer friends, more love, more money, more stuff… Following your dreams while appreciating the things about your life that you enjoy reminds you that there ARE things in life that you enjoy. The activity then becomes associated with the good in your life; the present and imminent increase of that. It doesn’t have to be megalomaniacal! Increasing the good in your life is personal and not subject to qualification except that there is more of something that is good by your definition. It is an expansion or progression towards more of the things or conditions that are good and desirable.
CUT TO:
EXT. SMALL TOWN STREET – DAY
SAD-PERSON walking down street, obviously internalized with listless walking manner, slumped shoulders and eyes, mainly, looking at the ground. They notice a Cafe up the street a little, hesitate in their step but turn their head away from it and look back at the ground. In the Cafe are various happy scenes of parents laughing with babies; young interests kissing, a patron profusely thanking the Cafe owner, etc. All completely unnoticed by Sad-Person.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
This can be subtle. On one hand you have this wonderful dream; yet thoughts of how this or that undesirable thing that exists in your life now may keep popping up. While you have your attention on these things, at the same time, a multitude of great things, right there in front of you, can go by undetected. Focusing too long on unwanted conditions basically puts blinders on you, preventing you from seeing the beauty in your current environment as well as from seeing golden opportunities to further your dreams and worse, preventing you from seeing yourself as the dynamo that you are.
It has a narrowing effect on your imagination and on what you may think is possible for you.
MATCH CUT TO:
EXT. SMALL TOWN STREET – DAY
HAPPY-PERSON sitting at outdoor table in Cafe. Chin resting on one hand with the other holding a coffee cup. They have a distant stare of reverie and a wistful smile as they are thinking about something wonderful. In the Cafe are the various happy scenes of parents laughing with babies; young interests kissing, a patron profusely thanking the Cafe owner, etc. Each one is momentarily noticed by Happy-Person as they gently shift in and out of their reverie, accompanied by a change in their smile and facial expression, appropriate to each happy thing noticed. Happy-Person also notices and recognizes Sad-Person walking down the street.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC(V.O. CONTINUOUS)
On the other hand, focusing on what is good in your life has the effect of opening up your eyes to more good and opening up your imagination to the possibility of more good. You become alert to goodness and a goodness hound! You see more of it and so you become aware, with certainty, that an abundance of it exists. It makes the possibility of an increased goodness in your life more real and therefore, easy to envision; giving you more confidence and understanding of the truth in your ability to increase goodness in your life through the accomplishment of your dreams.

EXT. SMALL TOWN STREET – DAY
Sad-Person walking down street and passes by Happy-Person at the outdoor Cafe table. This time we see Sad-Person take something out of their pocket. CAMERA Zooms in on it. It is a notice of a turn-down for some position for which they had applied. CAMERA Zooms back out. Happy-Person gets up and catches up with Sad-Person; puts an arm around them and continues down the street together. As they walk, Happy-Person gently points out different things for Sad-Person to look at; which initially illicit small, pained smiles. Eventually, Sad-Person starts to smile a little less creaking and eventually, still, more naturally.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Sometimes, looking for the good around you feels impossible; for example, in a moment when something bad is in your face. We all feel this, and always will. We are not wooden and unfeeling beings, but the length of time we spend focusing on something bad in front of our faces, should be very short in comparison to the length of time we spend focusing on the good that’s around us. The good keeps going on while we are mired down in the bad. It never stops; it’s always there for the seeing. At those rough times, we’ve just turned away from it. Train yourself to allow the examination of the bad for shorter and shorter times before turning back to the good that is there waiting for you to return. It is your rightful relief from the bad, but more importantly, it is your right to experience joy in the beauty that exists all around you.
CUT TO:
EXT. SMALL TOWN CENTRAL PARK – DAY
Birds are seen in a tree, fixing nests. Other birds are entering and exiting a hole in a tree trunk. Other birds cleaning their feathers. Etc.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Looking at a passing bird may not be enough to fully appreciate the miracle that just flew by; take time to consider the ramifications of what all is in your environment and the miraculous conditions necessary for them to be there. Ask yourself, “How does it know which seeds to eat?”, “How can it be so very accurate in its flying to weave in and out of bushes and trees?”, “How does it know the method of cleaning its feathers?”, “How does it know that cleaning its feathers is important?” Miracle, miracle, miracle, miracle! It doesn’t take long to come up with a genuine understanding that we are witnessing fantastic phenomena every time we look out the window. We don’t have to fully understand the answers to these questions for them to lead us to the realization of the true wonders that exist in front of our noses. Ask these questions (and more) for a while; soon, just the sight or sound of a bird will make your heart sing praises to the beauty and organization of life. You will break out smiling like you’re on the inside skinny of a wonderful secret!

Silhouette of a squirrel can be seen on a branch of the tree, looking up at the moon. MUSIC Non-intrusive, ethereal background music; assisting the viewer to focus on the Narrator’s words.
NARRATOR-EMPATHETIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Appreciating and enjoying your current life is of utmost importance to following your dreams. This cannot be understated. You have to take actions to appreciate and enjoy the good things in your current life.
The trees, the squirrels, the clouds, the sky, the rain, the moon, the stars; all miracles if you take more than a passing look, but take the time to let their details penetrate your awareness by simply spending time with your attention on them, in appreciation. Ask questions about their nature. Look at them until you come up with something to wonder about. The wonders are there and there is joy in witnessing them. Be patient but diligent in this. Find the things to appreciate by taking the time to look until you start to wonder about something. Ask yourself, “What is beautiful here in front of me?” And don’t stop looking until you come up with an answer.
Really dig in and see the beauty in everything we are involved in. There’s a LOT!
Appreciate the good things about yourself and your mind. You have accomplished things in the past, admire that about yourself. It is testament to your abilities. Let yourself know on a regular basis that you can depend on yourself to take the actions towards your dreams as they become apparent to you. Exercise your “child’s eye” to look at the world with endless possibilities for the future and endless wonders in the present; knowing that they are yours with just your decision of choice. Nurture your confidence in yourself by looking at the good things in the life that you have now; the result of your good choices in the past.

A flighty bird, a stoic tree,
A lolling herd, a buzzing bee,
A running rill, a hidden vale,
A rolling hill, a beaten trail.
A clump of stars, the sun at noon,
The round red Mars, a full lit moon.
The Ocean’s reign, a wind in wail
A pour of rain, a pelt of hail,
A lazy walk, a break-neck run,
Consoling talk or jokes in fun,
A bask in sun, a nap in shade,
A job well done, a choice well made.
A hope for more, a love of now,
No keeping score, no thoughts of how.
A love of all, an eye for good,
And standing tall, just as you should.
The shades of it that have their joy.
Your lessons, fit, you will employ,
To walk and beam with lilting step,
Towards your dream, in heart you’ve kept.

SUPER: YOU HAVE TO REPEATEDLY REAFFIRM YOUR DESIRE FOR YOUR DREAM, FOR LONG ENOUGH AND OFTEN ENOUGH, UNTIL YOU WANT IT SUFFICIENTLY TO PROMPT YOU INTO ACTION TOWARDS ITS ACCOMPLISHMENT.
INT./EXT. TEXT ON SCREEN – DAY/NIGHT
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
BEAT – View this section more often than the others. Open your mind to the possibility that you may have room to learn more about the broad impact that this simple statement has to offer.
You have to repeatedly reaffirm your desire for your dream, for long enough and often enough, until you want it sufficiently to prompt you into action towards its accomplishment.
This is where the whole thing hinges. It does sound over-simplified, even anti-climactic, but, if you have established a genuinely (to you) desirable dream, you know in your heart that you want it, you know that others will also benefit along the way, then… you have to actually spend time in your day to reaffirm your desire for that dream until you want it sufficiently to prompt you into action towards its accomplishment.
BEAT – There’s a lot that can be said about this simple statement, and hopefully what is said here will leave you with a series of realizations about it. There are many spin-offs from it, in the way it impacts your heart, soul and viewpoint in relation to your dreams, and the quality of your life in general. It’s not just that wanting your dream sufficiently prompts you into action; there are other ramifications that are more subtle that will be brought to your attention. Knowing these details will help you get into the groove of following your dreams; and help you recognize when you are NOT in that groove, when you are on the way to getting into that groove and when you are IN that groove. These stages often happen cyclically.
BEAT – Viewing this section when you are NOT in the groove may cause the content here to appear one way to you. Possibly like, “Tell me something I don’t already know!” Viewing it when you are on your way into the groove will give the content a different meaning to you. Maybe more like, “Wow, there IS more to this than meets the eye.” Viewing it when you are IN the groove, will, again, present new ideas and understanding about the information. More like, “I want to keep these subtle gems of understanding working for me, and extract new ones that will help streamline my desire and my life.”

If there are conditions and/or things you want in life but you are not already caught up in a burning desire for those dreams that make it exciting and satisfying to be up and about, doing things to forward their accomplishment, then you are NOT in the groove. So let’s take a look at this information from this viewpoint.
Now you may say, “I want_ ” (fill in the blank) and go off thinking about something that has nothing to do with your dream; or worse, go off thinking about reasons why you can’t. You don’t really FEEL the burning desire for it, but you recognize that it IS something that you dream about and want. So I am simply suggesting you continue to say, “I want_ ” until you FEEL the real desire for it.
The way in which you do this can vary; but literally state it, out loud, to yourself, to your loved ones, and to your friends who are supportive to you.
FADE TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
DREAMER individual is, initially, somewhat bland in appearance with little variance of facial expression or emotion. They are not exactly listless but are shown to be a little wooden. Additionally, they are easily distracted and thrown off their intention.
Dreamer is sitting on a sofa with a coffee table in front. The living room has a TV across the room. There is a phone on the coffee table. Also on the coffee table is a pad of paper with a pen.
Dreamer picks up the pad and writes something on it with the pen. Then holds it up and reads it out loud as can be seen by their lips mouthing words.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
This is what you must DO. If you spend 10 minutes doing this and it doesn’t result in you FEELING the desire for it; you have to reaffirm it for longer and more often. If you can’t get this FEELING of desire from one hour of reaffirming it; you need to continue at another time and more often until you get the real FEELING of desire for your dream.
What? A whole hour just repeating over and over what I want? Yes, sometimes, that’s what it takes to overcome the opposite thoughts you may have had about your dreams. It won’t always take such effort, but when it does, do what it takes.
You physically and mentally have to SPEND TIME DOING IT. Don’t discount how important this is because of how “obvious” it sounds. You have to reaffirm it for long enough and often enough to get yourself to that point of really FEELING the desire for your dream.
MATCH CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer tosses pad on the coffee table with a shrug, picks up the TV remote and turns on the TV. Channel surfs with little or no expression change.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
When you are not in the groove, this might require a leap of faith on your part. You may do what is suggested here for a short amount of time but maybe with not enough real focus and then start to think about giving up. You may feel silly doing it or you may have tried something like this before, but weren’t able to complete it or get to a result. You may simply find yourself drifting off into thoughts that are not related to the task at hand: getting the real FEELING of desire for your dream. There are a multitude of things that can happen; but I am telling you to continue to reaffirm your dream again and again.
MATCH CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer turns off the TV and gets their phone off the coffee table. They dial someone and can be seen talking. They put a finger on the pad and scroll down, reading what is written into the phone. Their expression is unvaried, almost bored.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Talk about it to your friends, family and loved ones; tell them that you’ve been thinking a lot about some of the things you want out of life. Tell them what it is that you want and how nice it would be to have it. Have the conversation with all your friends, family and loved ones. Include anyone that is supportive of you.
MATCH CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer hangs up and lays the phone back on the coffee table. Then picks up the pad and reads it out loud as can be seen by their lips mouthing words. After a while we see their first real expression which is them nodding their head gently in approval of what they are doing. A very slight smirk can be seen forming at one corner of their mouth.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Spend time with yourself, repeating what you want. Just repeat it, literally, over and over again. Observe how it makes you feel. It may, at first, actually make you feel worse; like you’re rubbing your own nose in the fact that you don’t already have it. Keep going; repeat it until you start to feel like it’s even remotely possible. You’re not going for the feeling that you’ve got it all figured out or know exactly how to get it. Initially, you are just going for a feeling that it’s maybe possible; to whatever degree. You are going for something different from how you’ve been feeling about it – something more positive. It can be a small positive feeling, but take note that how you feel about your dream has changed for the better; no matter how little.
Each time you catch the feeling of having it; revel there for as long as you practically can. Come up with your own ways of reaffirming your wants. Repeat them. You have to have a little patience. It doesn’t take forever, but it can take a little time. It depends how far out of the groove of your dreams you are.
BEAT – You have to consult with your own integrity on this point. You have to be honest with yourself regarding whether you feel something more positive about your dreams than before. If you are out of the groove of your dreams; it may be very easy to get frustrated and bored with repeating or give up because it’s not happening as fast as you might have imagined. You have to push through until you can honestly say you feel better about the possibility of your dreams.
BEAT – Each time you get a more positive feeling about the possibility of your dream; you have made important motion towards its realization. Don’t discount the importance of this point. Feeling more positive about the possibility of your dream (no matter how little more positive) is the exact result you are going for. It is the reason for this work. It is what “Want Your Dreams” is all about.
MATCH CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer is nodding their head more vigorously in approval of what they are doing and has an actual smile on their face.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Okay, let’s say that you’ve taken the leap of faith. You’ve repeatedly stated to yourself, your family, friends and loved ones, those wants and desires that reside in your heart. You’ve found that you no longer squish your ideas when they pop into your head.
Instead you find yourself in the position where, when you think about your dreams, they actually seem possible. You are able to affirm, “Other people have these things; I don’t see why I was thinking that it was impossible for me to have them,” “Maybe there IS some way I can figure out how to make this happen.”
If you’ve maintained your integrity and honesty with yourself, in that you have done this reaffirming to the point where you genuinely feel better and more positive about the possibility of your dreams; you’ve moved from being out of the groove to being on your way to the groove. If that’s not the case, then more reaffirming is necessary until you honestly experience a positive change in the way you feel about your dreams.

NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
On your way to the groove is an unstable condition. You’ve realized that your viewpoint about your dreams is a major influence in your belief of their possibility, but you may not have any physical world proof that it does in fact have real influence; you just feel better about them and their possibility. And that’s all you were going for up to this stage.
The main thing to note here is that you have a new certainty. Just by reaffirming your desire for your dreams, you’ve observed that you can make yourself feel better about their possibility. That may sound like a small thing; but it’s PIVOTAL.
What you have realized here is proof positive that your thinking influences the way you feel. I’m not talking about that statement as an academic certainty; I’m talking about your personal certainty. I’m sure you’ve heard this statement many times, and very likely agree that it is true, but now you are at a point where you can’t deny that you have the power to make yourself feel better about something just by reaffirming it. This certainty can be applied across your life in more places than addressing your desire for your dreams. You have certainty that your thinking can really influence how you are feeling about something. This puts you in the driver’s seat in relation to how you feel about your dreams, as well as how you want to feel in general about any aspect of your life.
FADE TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – NIGHT
Dreamer gets up from the sofa to go to bed, turning off devices, plugging in the phone charger and turning off lights as they exit the room.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
There is a difference between hearing the statement: “Your thinking influences the way you feel.” and agreeing that it is true compared to hearing that statement and knowing that it is true and knowing that you can exercise it successfully to arrive at a more positive feeling about something. That’s the difference between academic certainty and personal certainty.
On your way to the groove is the teetering point between academic and personal certainty. With academic certainty, all this can be boiled down to so much unproven, new-age assertions. With personal certainty, you have first-hand knowledge that your thoughts really influence your feelings and it has nothing to do with believing. You have personal experience that doing action a. with your thoughts, brings about result b. in your feelings. In that light; personal certainty has a lot in common with academic validity.
We’re taking about a gossamer-thin line between you and your dreams. It pivots on your personal certainty about the connection between your thoughts and your feelings. There is a big difference between being aware of this concept (knowing about it), and KNOWING it with personal certainty. Yet, the difference is all inside your head; and can be dislodged easily by the work-a-day world of your general life, your responsibilities and the problems you may encounter from day-to-day. Not to mention those around you who do not have this personal certainty and may criticize your tenuous hold on it.
FADE TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – MORNING
Dreamer enters in pyjamas. Looks at the pad on the coffee table and wiggles their head side-to-side; considering something or weighing options in their mind. They head out of the room in the opposite direction of their entry; into the kitchen. They return with a cup of coffee, sit down on the sofa, pick up the pad and start mouthing the words again. Initially they look quite bored with the activity, but very quickly, they brighten up as they start to feel better about the activity within such a short amount of time.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
On your way to the groove, you have to continue to reaffirm your wants; but from the better position of knowing that the reaffirmation WILL influence your feelings.
You have to maintain integrity and honesty regarding whether your feelings about your dreams are becoming more positive. You have to exercise control over the amount of reaffirmation necessary to influence an increase in positivity about your dreams and reaffirm more often if positive feelings about your dreams wane.
BEAT – To move into the groove, you have to commit to your knowledge. You have personally observed yourself feeling better as a result of your thoughts. Now you have to commit to that certainty. Which means, if you find yourself not feeling good about your dreams; you know that you have the power to change it and that if it isn’t changing, you know you just have to reaffirm your viewpoint long enough and often enough to make that change. You have to take responsibility for your knowledge as it applies to your dreams, and your life.

NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Once you get the real FEELING of desire for a dream, and the personal certainty of your influence of that FEELING; the reaffirming required to get you to that FEELING will decrease in amount until such a point that you just have to think about your dream and you will find yourself up and doing something that will move you closer to it. This is a payoff of momentum. Enough reaffirmation builds momentum for your ideas and desires. It sets a pattern of thought in motion.
Each reaffirmation that results in a more positive feeling about your dream adds weight, speed and gravity to your thoughts; and the outcome. That’s why, even though very little is required, reaffirmation while in the groove is equally as important as when you are getting there. It is just so much easier to push something along that is already moving – but remember, left on its own, it will slow down and eventually stop. If you have a pessimistic bend, your momentum will be accelerated downhill; and it will stop with a crash at the bottom! Understanding this will allow you to maintain your momentum, in the groove. And will allow you to regain the groove if it is ever lost.
FADE TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer is quickly jotting down notes on the pad and laying out the sheets on the coffee table. Then, re-arranging the order/lay-out of the sheets with demonstrable excitement over the choices of order. Every now and then they will touch their head in a pantomime of “Why didn’t I think of that before.” and make adjustments again.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
It’s not only the real FEELING of desire for your dream that prompts you into action towards its accomplishment; the shift of understanding that accompanies this feeling is the real horsepower behind new forward motion. This shift of understanding is accompanied by an enhancement of perception that allows you to “see” things that were invisible to you in your previous state of mind. Not only to see things in your external world, but in your internal world as well. Ideas about how to move closer to your dream “pop” into your mind. Good solutions for things that you had considered in the past, but had dismissed as not workable, now come back to your memory and make sense. Confidence in yourself to execute some part of a plan increases; things you could hardly have imagined yourself being able to do, you just jump into and get done.
MATCH CUT TO:
INT. LIVING ROOM – DAY
Dreamer receives some phone calls. Each one causes a suprized look; followed by them slowly picking up one of the sheets and with hand gestures, confirming the “random” call is exactly concerning the content of the sheet.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
You shift into a new level of personal certainty. You become aware of the fact that your thoughts influence much more than just your feelings. Opportunities that were not available before are showing up in your life. Circumstances just seem to be lining up for you. “Chance” happenings seem to be choreographed to align with your dreams. You are seeing the proof of the power of your thoughts.
You know that the only thing different in your life is that you are exercising your thoughts in a positive direction towards your dreams and doing so with the important intermediate result of genuinely feeling improved desire for them. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out this “A + B = C” equation. You are seeing the “magic” before your eyes and the source of it can only be traced back to you.
Your thoughts affect the world around you in ways that cannot be explained academically; yet the pattern of “before” and “after” screams of the proof! This is your personal certainty compounded with the proof that the only thing that changed inside you was the nature and intent of your thoughts. And the things that are happening in your life (outside of you), directly following that change inside of you, are the wondrous result of YOU!

The various gems of information presented here require your personal experience to really see them as the truths they are. You can’t see or touch a feeling; but you can experience it and KNOW that you have. You can’t see the lines of gravity between you and others who seem to be pulled towards you. Yet they and you are being drawn together on the tail end of a shift in your thinking; the cause and effect can be KNOWN.
These truths are very general and broader in application than they may appear. Use them to improve the quality of your life and dreams from whatever stage of groove you are in. If you don’t yet KNOW that they are accurate; gamble on the possibility that they are. What do you have to lose? What do you have to gain?

Each day I plant my flower beds
Each morning next, it’s overgrown.
So, not enough to raise their heads,
To overcome the weeds I’d sown.
Today I plant ten times and more,
To hold the ground and stake my claim.
And rest my head with hopes, I’m sure…
But weeds have over won again.
Despite the sight of all the weeds
And that the weeds seem there to stay.
I think of flowers and their seeds,
For in MY garden, flowers lay.
Again I plant, but hundreds now.
I laugh with friends and live my full.
I lay my head and dream of how
My garden is so beautiful.
Today I plant ten thousand seeds
Enjoy my day and sleep as sound.
This morning I can’t see a weed
For flowers that are all around.

What is the “FEELING”?
I’m not talking about something completely intangible here. I am talking about a feeling that we have all experienced at one point or many in our lives. You know it when you have it.
It is slightly different from person to person, but you recognize it in yourself and you recognize if you do not have it. It is a feeling that YOU create and that you can re-create and maintain. If you find yourself losing this feeling, you know you can get it back: reaffirm your dreams often enough and long enough to re-establish them.
This feeling has many shades from the beginning of the spectrum to the “all rockets firing” stage. At the beginning you may find that you’ve accomplished being somewhat less critical of your dreams and desires. You are not so quick to douse the flame of your hopes before they “get out of your control” and burn down your stabilities. This is a good thing and is progress if you are moving out of a state where your internal dialogue had been preventing you from dreaming and achieving those things you desire. Any positive improvement is valid and important. Each improvement of viewpoint is a step towards the accomplishment of your dreams. Your viewpoints and your influence over them is where it all starts; it’s the basis of progress and it’s the reason for launch.

Dreamer can be seen to be emanating various fine pollen streams; each with an individual colour. Dreamer is sitting on sofa with eyes closed, pad and pen on their lap. Bee brushes against Dreamer repeatedly, once for each coloured stream, exchanging some of Dreamers “pollen” with its own Golden Pollen. MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes low volume.
Each time Bee brushes one of Dreamer’s streams, they open their eyes and jot something down on the pad with a huge smile.
NARRATOR-DIDACTIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Throughout your day, pleasant moments wash over you as your attention goes to the increase in good feelings you have about your dreams. Feelings of confidence draw up as a result of your certainty that it was your actions that created this increase in well-being. Things start looking possible. You are not ruling out the possibility of you achieving your dreams and you are entertaining the idea that there may be some way that these things can really happen for you. Thoughts of what you desire pop into your head throughout the day and leave you feeling even better. You like thinking about these things and you make time in your day to give yourself the luxury you deserve; daydreaming!
Memories you might not have thought of in many years start to become visible to you again. You remember what it was like as a child when you really wanted something. Looking through a catalogue; FEELING what it would be like to have a new bicycle, not a single negative thought to be seen. You unreservedly basked in the imagined details of your prize. You envisioned your use of it to its full, detailed, joyful extent. The next day, and days after, just thinking about it brought a smile to your face.
CUT TO:
EXT. COFFEE SHOP – DAY
Dreamer sits at an outdoor Cafe table. Bee’s POV brushes by other people at other tables, exchanging “pollen” with them. Bee, then brushes by Dreamer, depositing pollen from others, picking up some of Dreamer’s and leaving its own Golden Pollen. MUSIC momentarily increases in volume as Bee exchanges pollen, then, resumes low volume.
Dreamer and OTHER-DREAMER notice each other and nod a greeting. MUSIC Stops. Other-Dreamer waves Dreamer over to their table and gives Dreamer a business card.
Dreamer throws their head back in laughter, and shakes their head in comic disbelief. Then, pulls out a phone, navigates to something on it, shows it to Other-Dreamer, who jumps up from the table with a similar expression of comic disbelief.
The both sit down and get into a flamboyant discussion over the contents of the phone screen.
NARRATOR-EMPATHETIC (V.O. CONTINUOUS)
Now in your life, serendipitous events start happening. You just, this morning, were talking to someone about one of your dreams and now in the coffee shop at lunch, you overhear someone talking about the same thing! You meet them and they invite you to a seminar that will provide you with more information about this activity you’ve been dreaming about. The taste of the magic of life is on the tip of your tongue.
Soon, with more high quality reaffirmations, true awareness of your positive feelings and increased personal certainty of your influence over your dreams, things really kick into gear.
You KNOW that your dreams are possible. And you WANT them! Your eyes are peeled, you senses alert, your energy is high and yet your mind is relaxed, on the lookout for the opportunities to align with and create.
Your heart is filled with desire. It’s a certain desire based on your experience of your ability to influence your feelings about your future. It’s a certain desire based on your experience of the increased “magical” happenings that have shown up in your life as a result of you taking control over the direction of your feelings. It is a certain desire based on your honesty and integrity to yourself in regards to generating genuine and truthful positive viewpoints about the powerhouse that you really are.
It is that unmistakable desire to do whatever it takes to accomplish what you want. It is a feeling of looking forward to doing the things necessary to bring it about. It is a feeling of confidence in your capabilities matched with a desire to act now; not in an urgent way as though you are losing an opportunity, but in an excited way like barely being able to sleep in anticipation of riding that brand new bicycle.
It is a state of mind where just the thought of your dreams brings an avalanche of ways to accomplish them and a wash of good feeling and confidence in their inevitable success. It brings energy for action. It brings a comfort in your deservedness and a relaxed certainty in your ability to get there. It is a feeling that people are conspiring in your favor and that there is more going on than meets the eye.
It is a feeling that things are going your way and that you are IN THE GROOVE!

Today I just can’t wait to start,
The business of my big red cart.
I’ll find some bottles, ropes and wheels
I know right now, just how it feels.
I sell my things and count my dough
And plan tomorrow, where to go?
To find more stuff and sell more things
What fun and laughter this game brings.
My friends they say I am the best
I’ll find your wants before I rest.
For rope or wheel, I’ll go a mile
So you will leave me with a smile.
And soon it’s bikes and bats and gloves.
I’ll find her doll, the one she loves.
I give them deals, they make a steal.
I love the way I make them feel.
And later on, I am so known
As where to get your things to own
That people come from all around
They seek me out and hunt me down.
They ask for this and that and those;
Furniture, tools, now even clothes.
I have a store, these are my friends.
The joy I spread, it never ends!

Maybe you are mid-shift in your viewpoints about your dreams and this has helped you fine-tune your path. Or, you might be burning a red rocket flame of desire on your dreams and like to freshen up your familiarity with these truths that you already know; loving to hear them presented in other unique and individual ways; extracting new nuances of understanding.
Wherever you are, there is always more potential for happiness, satisfaction, and accomplishment ahead of you. As mentioned before, the information will look different to you depending on where you are. As you shed layers of untruth about limitations, your awareness is open to see things not clearly visible to you before. As your skill increases, your ability to penetrate the nuances of information becomes deeper than before. Stay open to the possibility that more than one pass through this material will continue to yield “new” information – information that you hadn’t quite seen on the pass before.
Don’t sell yourself short and launch off half-wanting. The barriers and challenges to your dreams are the chase and game of life. Take the time to make sure you’ve prepared your heart on a diet of unstoppable desire and relaxed certainty. Full to the brim with these, no barrier can push you off your intentions.

In there is the fine balance of your dreams in action. They are to be had, accomplished and enjoyed. They raise you up so you are within reach of your next dream; things you may have never even known you wanted, and couldn’t know because you were not at a vantage point to see them.
Right now, most importantly for the intent of this work: WANT YOUR DREAMS. The rest will follow. You know how to get that feeling; and you know how to get it back if ever it fades.

And see the stars that shine within

Through squirming shift and frantic fit
Through mental blocks and guards at gate
Will slip the message, not too late
That you can make this wondrous read
Your hate, your love, your wish, your need
It’s in that simple state of truth
That lays your gift, you’ve had from youth
Though poem short and letters few
I call the biggest part of you
To choose your joy and anger both
And know your truth of every hope
View this often, let it soak
Bare yourself with prod and poke
Do not mistake this message, grand
So simple that you “understand”
Claw the surface, squeeze the juice
Repeat until your truths reduce
Do not ignore, instruction clear
Now back to top and start from there.
